Laguna is a ceramic collection that celebrates the authenticity of handcrafted production while embracing the precision of contemporary technology. Created through extrusion with naturally coloured clay bodies, each piece is carefully finished by hand.
The gentle sponging of the glaze and the subtle surface irregularities introduce controlled variations, giving every element its own character while preserving a coherent overall aesthetic. Low-relief textures interact with the glazes, resulting in surfaces where colour and texture exist in perfect balance.
What inspires Laguna’s collection?
The colour palette is inspired by the atmospheric tones of the Venetian lagoon, with shades such as Aqua, Ash, Coral, Duna, Fog and Puro. These colours enhance the expressive quality of the collection, whether used as ceramic tile flooring, glazed ceramic tile flooring or as a refined patterned ceramic tile solution for walls.
From elegant ceramic tiles for bathroom to sophisticated surfaces that evoke the richness of porcelain ceramic, Laguna creates a refined and contemporary visual identity suitable for both residential and commercial environments. The collection works beautifully as both glazed ceramic tile and wall covering, for indoor or outdoor applications, ensuring visual continuity and design coherence across different spaces.
What is NeoClay™ and why is it important?
One of the most distinctive features of the collection is NeoClay™, an innovative zero-absorption ceramic material that contains no glazes or crystalline coatings. Made exclusively from noble raw materials, it guarantees excellent durability, hygiene and long-term stability.
This makes it ideal even for high-traffic areas. Its full-body structure also allows for textured surfaces and special formats without compromising consistency or performance.
Why do Laguna tiles look different?
As handcrafted extruded products, the elements of the Venezia collection may show slight dimensional differences, tonal variations and minor irregularities.
These characteristics are not imperfections but expressive signs of their artisanal identity, enhancing the authentic and material quality of the collection.
How does Laguna support sustainability?
The project adopts a responsible and sustainable production approach through a series of integrated actions, including the complete recycling of production waste, which is immediately reused in the clay body, and the absence of glazing in NeoClay™ versions, thereby avoiding the disposal of liquid colorants. It also ensures the total elimination of VOCs from the process and reduced energy consumption, powered entirely by an on-site photovoltaic system.
In addition, the project makes use of recyclable materials free from harmful substances and features packaging made from recycled paper and cardboard, without the use of adhesives. These measures further reinforce its commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability.
