Our Process

Each tile is a ceramic artifact — not just a product but a piece of art. The harmonious blend of glaze, material, and technique results in surfaces that feel alive, capable of reflecting light and emotion, echoing the poetic and ever-changing character of Venice itself.
The collection draws from the architectural and natural beauty of the lagoon: deep blues from the sky and sea, soft whites and pinks reminiscent of ancient stucco façades, and refined grays that recall the stone pavements of Venice. Each tone captures a piece of the city's visual and emotional landscape.
What truly sets Laguna apart is the depth of the glaze and the richness of its tonal effects. Each tile is carefully hand-glazed, using water as the central element in the application of color — just as water is the lifeblood of Venice. The pigments are applied like watercolor brushstrokes, creating layered transparencies and unique chromatic variations.
Each tile in the Laguna collection is extruded by hand using exclusively natural raw materials. This artisanal process ensures every piece retains a distinct, tactile identity, grounding the collection in tradition while celebrating the natural beauty of the material.
